When Yuengling entered the light beer category, the goal wasn't to become another light beer. It was to create a lighter version of America's oldest brewery's iconic lager without sacrificing the character, flavor, and rich amber color that set Yuengling apart.
The campaign celebrated those differences. Through a series of television spots we highlighted a light beer that looked and tasted unlike the sea of pale, interchangeable competitors. The message was simple: if you're going to drink a light beer, rethink what a light beer can be.
